My God, this week seems to be going on and on and on forever!!! It's not that its been a bad one or anything it just seems neverending!

I just don't have the will to face another 2 days.....but I spose I'd better give myself a kick up the backside.

I start work in 20 mins and am not even dressed yet, lol, and still I am sitting here typing instead of moving.

Maybe I've just got the Thursday blues.

REMEMBER: MONEY TALKS..... BUT CHOCOLATE ROCKS

My manager finishes up on Friday this week, which is a real shame because she has been brilliant and we have gotten on really well. We were unsure who was going to take her place but we found out last night.

The news is good!! I get on just as well with the new manager and in fact she is the one who wanted to put me through the manager's courses, so things are looking bright for the future right now.

Oh well, time to go back to work today...hmmmmm


I spent yesterday feeling yukky all day and had went back to my bed at lunch time, then about half an hour later I got a phone call from the school....(youngest this time)..She had fallen on some broken glass and cut her hand, so I had to haul myself up to the school to get her.

Then after dealing with her and climbing back into my bed, the oldest came in having fallen and hurt her neck!!

Was yesterday the 13th and nobody told me?????

It's been a great Monday morning so far....kids at school and John away to work.....peace and quiet all through the house, well for at least another hour and a half!!

My internet connection has been really slow lately and sometimes it just won't connect, the connection at the wall looked a bit iffy so yesterday I decided to fix it....lol...bad move.

I had a spare connection thing (ya know the thing that goes into a phone wall socket from your phone, well the connector is a bit like that so.....easy I thought!

NOTTTT!!!! 4 hours later and nearly tearing my hair out, we still were getting nothing...no connection at all. I even tried setting up a wireless connection in the end and although I was connected wirelessly with an excellent signal (so it said) I still could not actually view any internet.

Anyway, after all this I gave up and went through to put a wash on growling all the way. About 2 minutes later John gave me a shout, and when I walked in there he was sitting at the comp and guess what......

Yeah, yeah...he had it working!!

I never heard the end of it for hours.....grrrrrrr

It's a beautiful sunny,I have the window open and I am listening to the sound of the church bell ringing.....I was just sitting back with my eyes closed listening to the sound of the morning, when something made me sit up!!

It was a noise a bit like a lawn-mover, so like I said I sat up.......that was when I realised the lawn mower is flying around in my house but is trapped behind the blinds...lol my first reaction was retreat (at speed) outa the room.

But I'm thinking that maybe it won't get in the blinds if I keep them shut.....

In the past I have been known as a bit of a kitchen killer...ya know, put the cooker on and then forget but I haven't done that for ages!!

Well, since just now....I have all the windows open and am looking at my screen through quite a thick smoke just now. In my defense I didn't forget this time, I don't know what happened - I put the oven on and went back 20 minutes later and the flames were coming outa the grill....

That was a mass panic moment - fire really scares the shit outa me, anyway I got it under control and am sitting freezing right now wi all the windows open.

BUT... the food in the oven is fine and cooked perfectly now....lol

Have a safer day than mine so far everybody!!

Oh well, got her in and settled, she bumped her head when she fell so I will have to keep an eye on her for a while. I spoke to my boss and have arranged to go in, in a couple of hours when I get somebody else here to watch her.

This reminded me that I used to faint all the time when I was younger...my list of places I fainted include - off the back of the stage during a school play (I took about 6 others with me when I did it though, which gave me a softer landing ,
in a restaurant (face first into a bowl of soup, and I got stretchered out of the place which was very embarrassing!),
on a bus, at school, at the stables and various other places too.

I think she has just inherited my swoon gene... thanks for the nice thoughts though folks...mwwahhhhhhhhh
