I had to drop my son at a ponsy hairdressers at a snobby subburb of Melbourn so he could get a hair cut at an outragiously expensive price. Any way I am driving around this concouse when some one backs out of an angle parking place. No problem even though I had right of way. It is a one way street so he / she drives a few meters and then backs into a parallal parking spot on the other side of the street!! Mow I know I am lazy but fair dinkum that takes the cake lol | ||

Son in car when he says - "you see that?" I look down a side street and there is a car on fire. I don't mean smoldering - I mean ablaze. Flames leaping out and smoke billowing - really well alight. I live not far away from the street but did not hear any fire sirens. This morning after dropping son at work I drove past. It is destroyed - tiotally burnt out. Wonder what happened? | ||||||

Most sport any way. The Australian Open is a special event too. So why, at the pointy end, am I over it? Its been 14 days almost non stop - day and night. I really admire the way Americans embrace and show their love of country. It is nit put on nor is it xxxxxx. We in Australia seem to be too laid back or self consious to do those things properly however it appears that some are making an effort. What tho is the idea of draping oneself in our flag and walking the streets getting pissed? Personally I think some use any excuse to drink and are not being patriotic at all. Still I am just a grumpy old fat fella so what do I know of the motives of others? | ||

I was sooo sick. Sun night I didn't sleep - felt crooka nd it was a stinking hot night. Got up Mon to take AW ( Arse Wipe - son ) to work and threw up. Hot all day - got to 44 c ( 111 f ) so layed in bed feeling awful and had fan going. It helped a little! Last night got as low as 32 ( 104 ) so haven't slept much. Still I am not crook - apart from the hot weather - 40 again today. Wow it is a good way to lose - or at least not put on as much - weight. That is a good thing - Right? | ||||||
