St Patricks Day.

Every one claims to be Irish on this day.

Don't know why. Who needs an excuse to get pissed?

I realise I went crook about it a while ago but that was 2 months ago.

I also know that we are still about a month away but I couldn't help it. I resist any ... but temptation.

I have been good until now but I bought some Hot Cross Buns to have for breakfast on Sunday morning.

You have every right to have a go at me .......but if you can.....forgive me too.

It must be Lent at least....soon???

Young men do not know how to change a toilet roll.

He can take a new one out of the packet but not replace the used, empty one.

It gets nestled on top of the old one, not in the holder itself.

I always yhought it was just an old wives tale of old wives nagging. I appologise. I was wrong.

Recently an Australian model had a pic of her in the shower published in the media. The pic was unflattering and taken by a bad boy footballer when they were having an afair.

She apparantly didn't want the pic taken let alone passed around to lots of mobile phones let alone put into the media.

This made me wonder about some of the pics on NN. The ones where it is a "happy snap" at a party or at the beach. Perhaps she is leaning over and showing a bit of cleavage.

c are going to be run by 16 year old - can they at least teach them properly.

I know the education system should teach kids how to add and subtract but they seem to rely on the cash register telling them the answer. If they go past the spot with the answer on it they have no idea.

Last night at a chain that shall remain nameless but selling chiken and obviously founded by the military the bloke in front handed over a $50 note to pay for $33.70 meal. He then offered $3.70 in addition but was told - "no I have already entered $50".

Then the young girl said "Oh no - I have gone past that point - hold on I will get a manager. After some discussion they decided $15.20 should be the change. The bloke said - " That doesn't sound right to me" After a bit more discussion the thought maybe at was $16.20. He offered that it might be $16.30 and turned to me and said "Is that right?" Finally the manager and the girl agreed.

I ordered and was asked "Do you want that as a meal?" I resisted the urge to say "No could I have it as an oil change for the car?" and just said thank you.

A meal consistes of a drink - I asked that it bo a bottle of water for the son. Guess what - I got the rifgt change - computer says yes - but no drink.

I don't mind not getting the drink - shit happens and we can be forgetful - esp at my age I am not going to critisize for that but ffs can we learn how to count by the age of 16. Or at least get managers - at 19 - to be able to help ppl count!!!

Thats only because I do whine a lot these days. So with that in mind, if you happen to stumble upon this little gripe, I suggest you move on.

My son plays semi - pro football. It is the second highest fottball in Australia so I am very proud of him. He is away on footy camp this weekend and I just looked up the practice match schedule.

Now remember it is semi-pro. He is a student at Uni ( studying a Graduate Degree is Basket Weaving called Bachelor of Health Science ) and has a job labouring for his gf's father.

So when is one of the practice matches? A friday evening - on the other side of town. They have to get to the game about 2 hrs before it starts for the rub down and the taping and the warm up and the coaches chat etc. How on earth can he work - travel 1 hr to the game - get there 2 hrs before hand?

Ok rant is over. If you read this far you nead to get a life you poor thing!!! lol
