Moose decided he missed regular meals.....4 AM and he was sitting on top of his house staring through the kitchen window! Thanks for all the support y'all....Moose would say thank you but right now he has his face buried in a bowl of Alpo!

Not been a good week so far. We had a nasty thunderstorm roll through Monday night and my black lab Moose got freaked and hauled ass, along with my pit Lucy. Lucy was waiting on the front steps when I got home from work Tuesday....sadly, no sign yet of Moose. We've annoyed animal control, the sheriffs department and plastered his face all over Facebook hoping someone has seen him.

....but...I do have new puppy pics!!!

I have the travel kennel in my kitchen for Terra and the pups...figured it was covered to make her feel safe and it would keep the munchkins close to mom. I was wrong. Went out for something last night and made sure the pups were curled up with mom. I get home, walk in the kitchen....and there's Simon wiggling his little furry butt across the floor! Just watched his escape act while I was cooking dinner....he oozed right over the lip of the kennel and plopped himself on the tile. Two minutes later, Alera follows him. Even funnier, when she got out she made a beeline for her moms food bowl (Terra has dry food with canned Alpo and chicken broth mixed in). Alera sticks her head in the bowl and starts licking away...dunno if it's the Alpo or chicken she likes...lol.

Hotter than hell out, so I brought the munchkins in for a bit....A/C and tile kitchen floor makes for content pups!

Managed to run all the big kids off quick enough to get a pic of the babies. This was taken at 3:15 AM, so they were still snoozing...

Finally broke down and replaced the sofa today. Figured a used $25 couch from the Salvation Army can't be beat....if the dogs chew it up, I'm not out a ton of cash. Add a couple of old bed sheets to protect it (sofa is off white and Storm just went into heat) and we're in business!


Looks like it has the pit bull "seal of approval". lol



Storm has claimed the end...and yes, Sissy is using Duke as a pillow!

No puppy pics today....Terra is still extremely protective of the two munchkins...

Another pup passed today. We think mom accidentally squished her when she was trying to get situated for feeding. The two remaining munchkins are already quite mobile as well as vocal. I was also wrong....there is one male. He is black with a white neck stripe...and a blue nose! The female is the brown pup....she looks like she will be 100% pit...she looks like a tiny copy of her uncle Linus.

6 month old puppies are NOT supposed to weigh 60 lbs. Whoever is sneaking in and feeding him steroids and Miracle Grow can stop now.....k? thanks
