When I retired, I made sure I was debt free and had a good cushion of cash in the bank. In the two years since retirement, I try to stay on the same budget and watch my spending. BUT, the cost of living keeps climbing. Now I find myself making my own 'budget cuts' to keep afloat. I'm far from being in a critical situation. I'm simply learning you can't really cover everything when you plan for retirement. Life gets in the way. ~ | ||
